Longney and Epney are two beautiful villages located on the banks of the River Severn in the district of Stroud, Gloucestershire. The parishes lie five miles South-West of Gloucester and the Saxon meaning of Longney is "Long Island". The population of the two villages was 285 in 2011.
We have been trawling through our photos to populate the website gallery. If anyone has any photos, particularly old ones of village life, sunsets or floods we would love to add them.
